You flow together like a river.
Consuming.
All assuming.
Very little time from breath.

The warmth and depth.
The light.
Hope, even when alone.
Nothing will hurt again. 

The Known...

A feeling of calm.
Your breath rests on my chest, over my heart.
In the night, we are one.
Dark settles around us, making the sound of silence.
To my mind it is Peace.
And from a distance I can still see the details,
of your life from the surface,
and outside myself, we are a painting,
of all that is beautiful about the World. 

Dreams of Waiting...

There on the edge of light, 
we meet.
The World turned around, 
your face still familiar.
We make a break, in my imagined world.
And never turn around. 

Forever...

Leave the door open,
i'll close my eyes.
I don't want to see what's on the other side.
The delicacy of a hidden thought,
the gentleness of a whisper.
I can feel myself falling, without ever knowing.
But I do know,
what forever feels like,
and this
is
it.

Firefly...

We drive at night, through the red.
The purple sky can't catch us.
I run my fingers through your hair.
The moonlight tries to touch us.
As it reaches lower all the street lights now bow out.

You put down the window, so I can touch the night.
It echoes silently in the distance, just out of sight.
I take some in my hand and put it in my pocket.
Because what's the use of having light, without a bit of night.
